The installation is based on the hidden processes of circulation between the human body and the metropolis, where urban space is inseparable from the body itself. This connection is constantly maintained through the invisible routes of infrastructure: water, air, heat, and the traces of our presence that continuously move through hidden systems. In this work, that movement returns to the interior of the building. What usually leaves it and continues somewhere beyond our sight becomes visible again.
I am interested in the moment when something bodily stops being perceived as part of a person and begins to exist as part of the environment. What happens to the body once it separates from us and continues moving on its own? Does it remain an extension of the person, or does it become part of a larger system?
