My work begins with subtle disruptions in everyday life: an infrastructure, an ordinary gesture, or a strange feeling that refuses to leave me alone. I look at these situations through a bodily optic, asking a simple question: what does the body have to say about this? My pieces exist in that space where the body notices before the mind catches up.

My practice combines ready-mades, silicone casting, 3D fabrication, and performative documentation. I transform familiar objects into tactile, slightly uncanny encounters that test the boundaries between the human body and its environment.

Wordplay, wit, and irony act as physical materials in my work. Humor serves as an entry point—it lowers the viewer’s guard, invites curiosity first, and opens up space for a deeper sensory response to complex topics.

The Zanoza Equation:
I am Nastia Zanoza (b. 2004), a multidisciplinary artist working with sculptural objects, installations, and bodily-activated situations.
