Order of a Good Girl is built around a poem and a childhood image that is restaged in adulthood. The same figure reappears, now fitted with soft sculptural armour made from fragments of my own body.

The project traces how gender roles are internalised through narratives that promise protection, reward, and recognition. These structures persist, shaping the body under constant visibility and expectation. The armour shifts the logic of protection. It does not shield. It exposes, restricts movement, and redirects attention to the body itself.

The work moves between fairy-tale constructs and contemporary urban space, where these narratives continue to operate. The figure of the "good girl" emerges as something maintained and performed rather than given. The poem functions as a parallel structure setting the conditions in which they unfold.

The Order of a Good Girl
